digiKam, a digital photo-management application for KDE and Linux, which includes an image editor for photo corrections and manipulation, is now at version 3.3.0 Beta 1.

Highlights of digiKam 3.3.0 Beta 1:

• digiKam no longer crashes after the user is closing the configure dialog; • Editing RAW images no longer produces artifacts with bilinear quality; • A crash that occurred when attempting to view images in folders has been fixed; • The untranslatable strings in the timeline tab have been fixed; • Full-screen options are now applied after restarting the application; • Camera support has been added for Sony A77.
