Vince Pooley, the creator of the Chapeau project, a beautiful GNU/Linux distribution based on the well-known Fedora Linux operating system, has recently announced that the first point release of Chapeau 22 is available for download.

According to the brief announcement, the Chapeau 22.1 release is here to update many of the core components of the distribution as well as some of the most important applications. The new Chapeau 22.1 ISO image includes all the upstream updates from the Fedora 22 repositories as of July 13, 2015.

"Today I announce the latest Chapeau release, Chapeau 22.1. This ISO image brings the current Chapeau 22 live image up to date with all packages as of 13th July 2015," says Vince Pooley. "This release was expedited by the recent package conflict issue caused by the Korora 22 repo which has been fixed with a package update and I didn’t want this issue affecting new installs. Other than that just newer awesomeness!"

Additionally, Chapeau 22.1 fixes conflicts with packages from the official software repositories of the Korora 22 Linux operating system. Therefore, newer installations of Chapeau will no longer be affected. Download Chapeau 22.1 right now from Softpedia. The distro is available only for 64-bit computers.
