The game has been spotted in the Steam Database

Alien: Isolation is a first-person survival game developed by Creative Assembly, a studio mostly known for its Total War series. From the looks of it, a Linux version might just be in the works.

Some Total War games already have Linux support, so getting a triple-A title like Alien: Isolation on Linux is not something inconceivable. On the other hand, it's sort of funny that users found out about the possible porting of this title from the Steam Database. This doesn't usually happen for big games that are advertised for Linux long time before anything moves in the Steam Database.

"Discover the true meaning of fear in Alien: Isolation, a survival horror set in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger. Fifteen years after the events of Alien, Ellen Ripley’s daughter, Amanda enters a desperate battle for survival, on a mission to unravel the truth behind her mother's disappearance," reads the Steam synopsis.

The information about the Linux version is taken from the Steam Database, and by no means is it completely certain. The Steam Database is a record of data that describes every Steam game and subscription provided by Valve for the Steam service.

We already have a review for the Windows version in place, if you want to check it out.
