Zorin OS, a multifunctional operating system based on Ubuntu and designed specifically for Windows users who want to have easy and smooth access to Linux, is now at version 6.4.
The Zorin OS 6.4 Core distribution is built on top of the previous 6.3 version and features a lot of updated software and new Linux kernel.
Zorin OS 6.4 is based on Ubuntu 12.04.3 (Precise Pangolin), which is an LTS (Long Term Support) release, providing users with 5 years of security updates.
According to the developers, users who already have installed earlier versions of the Zorin OS 6 series of operating systems can simply update their system.
All the aforementioned changes and improvements in 6.2 will be applied by installing the latest updates from the Update Manager, with the exception of Zorin Menu.
