A Ubuntu-based operating system aimed at Windows users that are switching over to Linux, Zorin OS Educational, has now reached version 6.

Zorin OS 6 Educational series is based on a new desktop environment called “Zorin Desktop” and comes with Zorin Look Changer, an application that allows users to change between Windows 7, XP and GNOME 2 graphical interfaces.

The distribution is based on Lubuntu 12.04 and uses the LXDE desktop environment. Among the important changes, there is Linux kernel 3.2.
