Xubuntu 13.10 (Saucy Salamander) operating system is now officially available for download, and we have prepared a screenshot tour.

Xubuntu 13.10 (Saucy Salamander) is not a spectacular release, but the developers have managed to squeeze in some interesting changes.

Highlights of Xubuntu 13.10 (Saucy Salamander):

• A new version of xfce4-settings has been implemented, which means that a new dialog is now available to set up the display; • A tool has been added to help users change theme colors easily; • gtk-theme-config has been added to the default installation; • The GTK themes now feature Gtk 3.10 support.

Starting with 13.04, the Xubuntu images will not fit on standard CDs anymore. To install Xubuntu, you will need other media, such as a USB device or a DVD.
