Xfce users can now make their operating system look a lot more like Mac OS, with just a few modifications and by applying a simple theme.

If you have a Xubuntu operating system or another Xfce-powered OS, you can have the “Macbuntu like for XFCE” theme installed and make it look like a Mac OS.

The theme is composed of three parts – the files for the icons and decorations, Docky 3D, and the Slingshot menu. You can change the icon set by copying them in /usr/share/icons

According to the developer, the XFCElementary theme and icons have been added, and NOOB osx icons instructions are now available.

The packages have been tested on a number of other operating systems, including Xubuntu 13.04 and Xubuntu 13.10.

The developers have also included the My-Weather-Indicator package. Download the entire “Macbuntu like for XFCE” 6.1 right now from xfce-look.org.
