14 DAY TRIAL // We are sorry to inform you that Canonical will not release ISO images of Beta 1 version of the upcoming Xubuntu 12.10 (Quantal Quetzal) operating system.
Based on the latest daily build of Xubuntu 12.10 we can report that the distro is now powered by Linux kernel 3.5.3 and is built on top of the Xfce 4.10 desktop environment. It also comes with a new wallpaper, updated artwork, updated Ubiquity slideshow, and updated versions of LightDM, Greybird, Catfish and Parole.

Xubuntu 12.10 (Quantal Quetzal) will be distributed as Live CD ISO images for both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures. The Alternate ISO images will no longer be available.
