Alexandre Julliard has just announced a few hours ago, November 15, that the first maintenance release of the stable Wine 1.6 application is now available for download.
Wine 1.6.1 is a maintenance release for the stable 1.6.x branch, fixing exactly 58 issues reported by users from the previous version, which was released on July 2013.
This release adds support for Nvidia GTX 660M and Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 graphics cards, adds missing files for installing iTunes 7, and fixes issues with .NET Framework 3.5, MS Excel 2010, Altium Designer 10, Nullsoft installer, QuiteRSS, and RTX server.
Wine 1.6.1 also adds better compatibility with several Windows games, including Neverwinter Nights 2, Torchlight 2, Anno 1602, Sins of a Solar Empire, Louisiana Adventure, League of Legends, The Ur-Quan Masters, Jagged Alliance 2, and Spin Tires.
