Webmin, a web-based interface for system administration for Unix, has just reached version 1.670 and is available for download.

With Webmin 1.670 and with the help of any modern browser, users can set up user accounts, Apache servers, DNS, file sharing, and much more.

According to the developers, the Webmin Users, Webmin Configuration, and Squid modules have been updated in order to use the standard UI library for a more consistent and themable UI, binary slave zone support and invalid chroot detection have been added to the BIND module, and the flow in the Disk Quotas module has been added for enabling quotas from scratch simpler.

Also, the FTP transfers to support IPv6-only servers have been fixed, and IPv6 network size support has been added to the Webmin's address-based access control.
