The Webconverger project, an evolution of the hybrid client for deployments in places like offices or Internet cafes where only web applications are used, is now at version 12.0.

The most prominent feature in Webconverger 12.0 is the fact that the entire operating system is now maintained under GIT.

Highlights of Webconverger 12.0:

· A new configuration and subscription service has been implemented; · A new boot menu was added, with the ability to boot in a selection of different locales; · Mozilla Firefox 10.0.3; · A new about: page that shows the running version of Webconverger; · Better network handling; · Re-engineering of boot APIs like i18n; · kioskresetstation now works with blanking; · Hard open sourced work documented on https://github.com/Webconverger/; · Lots of other updated packages.
