Wargame: AirLand Battle, an RTS game developed by Eugen Systems and published by Focus Home Interactive, is now available on Steam for Linux with a 70% discount.

Wargame: AirLand Battle is the sequel to the real-time strategy game Wargame European Escalation, and it's probably the most complex strategy game available on Linux, let alone on Steam.

“Command the entire military resources of the period, and plunge into the heart of a new dynamic campaign! With the arrival of air forces, select from a phenomenal array of 750 units (including tanks, planes, helicopters, and infantry) to build your army,” reads the official announcement.

The Linux system requirements are also matching the superb graphics in this game: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS or Ubuntu 12.10, AMD/INTEL DUAL-CORE 2.5 GHZ, 2048 MB of RAM, ATI Radeon X1800 GTO / NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT / INTEL HD 3000 or higher, and 15 GB HD of space.

More details about this beautiful strategy game can be found on the Steam website. The promotion is set to end on February 8.
