VueScan 9.3.21, an easy-to-use replacement for the software that usually comes with scanners and that supports most flatbed scanners, printer/scanners, and film scanners, has been released and is now available for download.

The VueScan project is under constant development, and fixes, changes, and new features are implemented on a regular basis.

Highlights of VueScan 9.3.21:

• The auto detection of “Input | Media” has been improved; • A problem with the detection of some Plustek scanners has been fixed; • A problem that caused hanging with some Plustek scanners has been corrected.

VueScan provides support for over 1,000 scanners on the Linux system. Not all of them work with all SCSI/USB/Firewire interfaces, but most combinations are known to function.

A complete backlog of modifications implemented in all the past versions, can be found in the official announcement. Download VueScan 9.3.21 right now from Softpedia.
