VueScan 9.3.20, an easy-to-use replacement for the software that usually comes with scanners and that supports most flatbed scanners, printer/scanners, and film scanners, has been released and is now available for download.

The VueScan project is under constant development, and fixes, changes, and new features are implemented on a regular basis.

Highlights of VueScan 9.3.20:

• Various problems with some HP document feeders have been corrected; • A problem with some Samsung document feeders has been fixed; • The scan setup time on Plustek OpticFilm 120 has been improved; • Plustek scanners are no longer going to sleep while VueScan running.

VueScan provides support for over 1,000 scanners on the Linux system. Not all of them work with all SCSI/USB/Firewire interfaces, but most combinations are known to function.

A complete backlog of modifications, implemented in all the past versions, can be found in the official announcement. Download VueScan 9.3.20 right now from Softpedia.
