VueScan 9.3.17, an easy-to-use replacement for the software that usually comes with scanners and that supports most flatbed scanners, printer/scanners, and film scanners, has been released and is now available for download.

The VueScan project is under constant development, and fixes, changes, and new features are implemented on a regular basis.

Highlights of VueScan 9.3.17:

• A problem with crashes that occurred when no scanner is connected has been fixed; • A cropping issue that occurred when scanning from raw files has been corrected; • The “Auto” option has been added to “Output | PDF multi page”; • The options are now changing properly when putting paper in feeder.

VueScan provides support for over 1,000 scanners on the Linux system. Not all of them work with all SCSI/USB/Firewire interfaces, but most combinations are known to function.

A complete backlog of modifications, implemented in all the past versions, can be found in the official announcement. Download VueScan 9.3.17 right now from Softpedia.
