Valve's Deathmatch Classic, a multiplayer game developed 12 years ago on the Source engine, will arrive on Linux.

When Valve said that they are going to port their catalog on Steam for Linux, user were thinking more in the lines of Half-Life 2.

Deathmatch Classic, a multiplayer game developed by Valve as a tribute to Quake, that mimics its gameplay and style, will be launched on Steam for Linux, according to the CDR database.

The information is taken from the CDR database and by no means is it completely certain. The CDR Database is a record of data that describes every Steam game and subscription provided by Valve for the Steam service.

Usually, the new entries in the Steam database are first visible in the CDR Database before their official launch.
