Valve has launched most of their games on Steam for Linux, but the important ones, like Left 4 Dead or Half-Life 2, haven’t made an appearance yet.

Even if Valve’s fans are happy because they’re playing most of their favorite games, people have started to wonder why other titles, like the ones from the Left 4 Dead franchise, can’t be played.

The developer has assured us that they are indeed working to port the game, but we will just have to wait a little more.

“We are hard at work on the Linux release. While we don’t have a solid ETA yet, we are internally testing on Linux, MAC, and PC. Right now, it is looking pretty good. We will have more news as we get closer to release,” reads an official post on the Left 4 Dead blog.

Given the speed for the other ports, the new games from Valve should arrive shortly.
