Valve has released yet another Beta version of its Steam client, this time with more fixes for the Streaming component of the application.

The company usually pushes a few Beta updates before upgrading the stable branch of Steam, and now it's time for a new build to be available for download.

Valve also issued a small warning for this new update. It might be necessary to install it more than once, but things should be fine after that.

According to the changelog, the performance of the streaming stats display has been improved, support has been implemented for multiple remote gamepads at game startup, the slow capture time is now accounted for in the streaming stats feedback, automatic framerate drops are now a lot less frequent, and the QoS traffic priority has been disabled.

Check out the official announcement for more details about this release. You can also download the Steam installer from Softpedia if you don't have the client.

Keep in mind that this is a Beta version and you might experience some problems with it. In order to get it, you have to enroll in the Beta program, from Preferences.
