Util-linux, a suite of essential utilities for any Linux system that contains many basic tools used for setting up partitions and basic system infrastructure, is now at version 2.23.1.

Highlights of Util-linux 2.23.1:

• --disable-setterm function has been added; • A typo in ID_FS_AMBIVALEN= [Karel Zak] build-sys has been fixed; • The tools always check for setns() and unshare() libs function; • Various error messages have been fixed; • loopcxt_check_size() has been fixed in order to work with blkdevs; • The get_terminal_name() usage has been fixed; • A ReFS magic string has been fixed; • The SERIAL column has been added; • A new warning fix has been implemented; • The standard SEE ALSO section of man pages has been updated.
