It has almost all the features you would need

Ubuntu for phones doesn't have an official online store for the applications accessible from the PC, but that doesn't mean someone didn't manage to put one together. It's not official, but it works very well.

Now that there is an Ubuntu phone in the wild, users have started paying much more attention to the applications available in store. There are a lot of them, but you can't see them unless you are booting an Ubuntu OS on a phone, like Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition or Nexus 4. Now that has been changed because an unofficial store is available.

Users can see what apps have been added to the store, what their prices are, check the reviews that have been posted and the ratings, and promote them on social networks. There is also an install button, but without access to the Ubuntu One sign-in process, it doesn't work. Some of the apps also have screenshots, which is a very useful feature.

It's very likely that a similar product is already in the works from Canonical, but there is no word on that. Hopefully, it will have access to Ubuntu One so that users can install apps right from their PC.

In the meantime, feel free to visit the unofficial store and see what kind of apps you'll find.
