Canonical has shared some interesting statistics about the Ubuntu Edge IndiGoGo project and about the top contributors.

Ubuntu Edge has just two days to raise the necessary funds to make this phone a reality, but as it stands right now that is rather unlikely.

In any case, this experiment has proven rather useful for Canonical and the immediate result is the brand recognition for their products.

The company also posted an interesting statistic about the countries which contributed the most. The first place is United States, followed by United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, Australia, Netherlands, Sweden, France, Switzerland, and Norway.

The Ubuntu Edge IndieGoGo project is already the biggest crowd-funding effort in history, if we take into account the number of days for this campaign.

Ubuntu Edge is a phone developed by Canonical that features some interesting hardware specifications. More details about the price and the campaign can be found in our initial report.
