Ubuntu designers are exploring new ways of implementing image sharing across one device

Ubuntu Touch may have reached version 1.0 from a development point of view, but the truth is that it really needs a UI update that would also include better effects.

We saw a couple of days ago what Ubuntu developers have in mind in order to enhance the users' experience, and the effects demonstrated were quite nice.

Now, the designers are trying to put together a new way of sharing images across the device, and the transition effects are very impressive.

“We’ve recently been exploring how the share transitions should work when you’re previewing a photo in gallery mode. Our main goal is that there is a consistent transition for sharing photos across the phone.”

“This is the latest iteration of the explorations we’ve been doing, and, as such, these transitions are still work in progress, but certainly worth sharing,” reads the official blog post.

This is just proof of concept but, if it does get adopted, Ubuntu Touch users are in for a surprise.
