Canonical has announced today, April 25, the immediate availability for download of Ubuntu Server 13.04 (Raring Ringtail) operating system, along with Ubuntu 13.04, and all the other flavors.

Ubuntu Server 13.04 includes the Grizzly release of OpenStack software, which delivers a massively scalable cloud operating system.

Among the OpenStack projects supported in this release, we can mention Nova, Swift, Glance, Horizon, Keystone, Quantum and Cinder. Ceilometer is also included and can be found in the Ubuntu Universe repository.

Moreover, Ubuntu Server 13.04 updates Juju to version 0.7, and the initial release of the Go rewrite of Juju, version 1.10.0, is available from the Ubuntu Backports repository.

MAAS (Metal as a Service) has also been updated (version 1.3) and includes various improvements and bug fixes over previous releases. Among other new features, Ubuntu 13.04 includes Ceph 0.56.4, MongoDB 2.2.4 and OpenvSwitch 1.9.0. Download Ubuntu Server 13.04 right now from Softpedia.
