The Ubuntu Secure Remix Linux operating system has reached version 12.10 and it is available for download on mirrors worldwide.

Ubuntu Secure Remix 12.10 is, of course, based on Canonical's new Ubuntu 12.10 (Quantal Quetzal) operating system.

It is a slightly modified edition of the normal Ubuntu 12.10 Desktop Live CD to include three applications that are not in the normal Ubuntu release, like Clean-Ubiquity, OS-Uninstaller and Boot-Repair.

Ubuntu Secure Remix was created with a single goal in mind, to serve users who want to install the Ubuntu distro in a dual-boot environment, along with a Mac OS X or Windows operating system.

Ubuntu Secure Remix 12.10 is distributed as Live DVD ISO images, supporting both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures.
