All Debian developers have received from Valve access to all the games it's made and the ones it will ever make. The same offer has been extended to all the Ubuntu developers.

In a surprising gesture, Valve has offered to provide all the Ubuntu developers with access to its entire library of games. The interesting bit is that developers will also get all the Valve games that will be released in the future.

“As I'm sure most will be aware, for the last couple of weeks, Valve have offered access to all Valve produced games free of charge to Debian Developers [0]. As of today, they have kindly extended this to all registered Ubuntu Developer,” said Debian's Neil McGovern.

The company that will take care about the distribution of keys is Collabora, which is an open source software consultant company of sorts.
