Canonical has announced that the next Ubuntu Developer Summit will take place from Tuesday 27 August to Thursday 29 August 2013, from 2 PM UTC to 8 PM UTC, via the usual Google+ Hangouts.

Ubuntu Developer Summit will have five tracks: App Development, Community, Client, Server & Cloud, and Foundations.

The track leads will be Alan Pope, David Planella and Michael Hall for App Development, Daniel Holbach, Nick Skaggs and Jono Bacon for Community, Jason Warner and Sebastien Bacher for Client, Dave Walker and Antonio Rosales for Server & Cloud, and Steve Langasek for Foundations.

The new format of the Ubuntu Developer Summit event, organized by Canonical, will make heavy use of Google+ Hangouts and will integrate IRC discussion channels, social media sharing, collaborative note-taking, as well as embedded blueprints.

Those of you who would like to add a session for this UDS (Ubuntu Developer Summit) event can do so either by proposing a meeting through Summit itself or by registering a Blueprint.
