The Pinguy development team has just announced that Pinguy OS 13.10 Beta 3 is now available for download.

Pinguy OS 13.10 Beta 3 is based on Ubuntu 13.10, which is quite different from the base distro, which only features GNOME 3.8.

This third Beta version of the Pinguy OS 13.10 arrived fairly quickly after the previous one, featuring just a small number of changes.

According to the developer, trim is enabled by default for SSDs that have trim support, GDM has been replaced with MDM, fixing GNOME extensions issue, and Synapse has been included, replacing GnomeDO.

A complete list of changes and improvements can be found in the official announcement. Download Pinguy OS 13.10 Beta 3 right now from Softpedia.

Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
