Uri Herrera from Nitrux S.A. recently announced the immediate availability of Nitrux OS 4.15 Linux operating system that is currently used in their NXQ mini PC unveiled a couple of months ago.

Nitrux OS 4.15 is an Ubuntu-based operating system that runs on top of the Linux 3.19 kernel and a highly modified KDE4 desktop environment. The new version adds various applications, such as Typer.IM Web app, Nitrux Store Web app, KDEConnect, and Profile Sync Daemon.

In addition, the VirtualBox Guest Additions package has been updated to the latest stable version, 4.3.26, the cache and profile of the Chromium web browser were moved to RAM for better performance, and nine new wallpapers have been added.

"Howdy, folks! today we’re pleased to announce a new release of Nitrux OS; version 4.15 brings some changes to the system," says Uri Herrera in the official release announcement.

Among some of the bugs fixed in Nitrux OS 4.15, we can mention the broken touchpad support, and an issue of the Chromium web browser not using the menubar plasmoid from KDE.

The Typer.IM Send tool has also been updated to deliver a better file sharing experience to NXQ users, so make sure to watch the video below for more details. The Nitrux S.A. team also announced that the virtual machine of Nitrux OS will be updated soon with all these new features.
