With yesterday's updates, and because the Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) will be in UI Freeze starting tonight, February 23rd, the developers themed that ugly looking shotdown/restart dialog from the LightDM login manager.

Of course, I have to admit that a more transparent and futuristic dialog would have been more appropriate for that amazing and beautiful login manager of Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, but hey... that's good enough for my eyes (click the image above to enlarge).

Other than that, the "Password" text was removed from the login password field under your name, and new button design and layout has been implemented when chooosing a session.

On the other hand, Canonical is hard at work these days, preparing the upcoming Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Beta 1 operating system, due for release next Thursday, on March 1st. So check back next week for an in-depth article about the first Beta release of Precise!
