According to Canonical, this update provides an new ubufox package for use with the latest Firefox.
Multiple security problems have been discovered in the Firefox package. An attacker could have used these issues to potentially execute code with the privileges of the user invoking Firefox, steal confidential data, save a bookmark of a malicious javascript, and more.

Users can simply fix the security flaws by upgrading the operating systems to the latest xul-ext-ubufox package, specific to each distribution.
