TurnKey Core Live CD, the common base system on top of which all TurnKey Linux appliances are built, has now reached version 13.0 RC.

TurnKey Core Live CD 13.0 RC is based on Debian Wheezy 7.0, upgrading several key components and fixing some important bugs.

Highlights of TurnKey Core Live CD 13.0 RC:

• The distribution is available in both 32bit and 64bit versions, which means that it’s now guaranteed that TurnKey 13 will come with 64-bit support; • The distribution is based on Debian 7.0 ("Wheezy"). • Fixed keypacket AES cipher initialization required as of python-crypto 2.6; • Implemented turnkey-init-fence for headless deployments.

A complete changelog can be found in the official announcement.
