The powerful, lightweight and extremely popular Transmission BitTorrent client for Linux, Mac OS X and Windows operating system reached version 2.77 a few minutes ago.

Transmission 2.77 has been posted on the official website of the notorious application designed to download magnet and torrent files.

This version fixes a JSON parsing issue from Transmission 2.75, an overflow error related to speed limits above ~8589 kB/s, a minor memory leak when webseeds were used, folder mis-selection bug in the Preferences dialog, pluralization in the user interface, as well as GTK+ console warning on shutdown.

Moreover, webseeds are now included in generated magnet links, the non-Latin-1 symbol issue when displaying file transfer speeds has been fixed, creating new torrent with multiple trackers should work now, and some documentation errors were also resolved.
