Tracker, a semantic data storage for desktop and mobile devices that uses W3C standards for RDF ontologies using Nepomuk with SPARQL to query and update the data, has just reached version 0.16.1.
A new Tracker branch has been launched, along with the 3.9.x branch of GNOME. As usual, there are quite a few changes and improvements.
Highlights of Tracker 0.16.1:
• trackerfox 0.16 no longer fails on 'upgraded' systems; • OpenBSD no longer needs _XOPEN_SOURCE_EXTENDED; • The get_memory_total() call has been implemented on OpenBSD; • Support has been added in the dbus process identification for OpenBSD; • Unit tests have been fixed for localtime / timezone functions; • A connection singleton mutex issue has been fixed.
A comprehensive list of changes and fixes can be found in the official announcement.
