Robert Shingledecker has announced the immediate availability for download and testing of the Tiny Core 5.2 RC3 Linux operating system.

As the name implies, this distribution is known for its small size and versatility. The developer integrates a large number of packages and an attractive desktop.

Highlights Tiny Core Linux 5.2 RC3:

• fstab entries are no longer replaced for a device that does not have "Added by TC" on the line; • The default inode count has been increased; • The extensions under subdirs are no longer listed in onboot maintenance; • A wildcard has been added to support both x86 and x86_64; • Quotes have been added for binaries with spaces in their names.

A complete list of updates and changes can be found in the official announcement. Download Tiny Core Linux 5.2 RC3 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
