A lot of small changes have made their way into this release candidate version

Tiny Core Linux, a small, minimal Linux distribution based on Linux kernel 3.0, Busybox, Tiny X, and Flt, is now at version 4.2 RC3.

The developers have stated that Tiny Core Linux has become an example of what the Core project can produce. The 4.2 series introduces CorePlus as a simple way to get started using the Core philosophy.

Highlights of Tiny Core Linux 4.2 RC3:

· tce-setup has been updated to use /tmp/builtin for embedded initrd extensions; · cpanel has been updated to only activate Xvesa button if Xvesa is loaded; · exittc has been updated to default focus on OK button for quicker use from keyboard; · a number of  X/GUI extensions have been updated; · startx has been updated to better support desktop boot code.
