A.N.N.E, a 2D platformer game developed Gamesbymo that tried its luck on Kickstarter, will arrive on the Linux platform.

The game is described by its developers as your favorite 8-bit and 16-bit era games mashed into one. Metroidvania meets Gradius in an exciting, modern pixel art adventure.

The player will take the role of A.N.N.E., a robot that has been taken to Planet Gomi in order to get dismantled and disposed of.

The innovation in this 2D platforms is the fact that it’s all about open exploration. The enemies have different levels and you will have to acquire the necessary skills.

The developers from Gamesbymo have gone to Kickstarter in order to get the necessary funding and have managed to raise enough money.

A.N.N.E is expected to arrive in April 2014. If you want to help fund this game, you still have a little under two days to do so.
