Today is the day, April 25, when Canonical released the final version of the Ubuntu Kylin 13.04 (Raring Ringtail) operating system, along with all the other Linux distributions that are part of the Ubuntu family.

Just like the previous development releases, the final version of Ubuntu Kylin 13.04 includes a very convenient music search Lens for the latest Chinese songs, a China weather indicator powered by the latest PM2.5 API, as well as an authoritative and easy-to-use Chinese Calendar.

Moreover, Ubuntu Kylin includes a style theme, an installer slideshow (only for the Desktop install), the Fcitx input method, which supports cloud Pinyin input and more intelligent word association, and WPS (Web Processing Service).

Ubuntu Kylin 13.04 is distributed as Live DVD ISO images, supporting both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures. Support for PAE is included. It will be supported for 9 months, until January 2014.
