This is not a major release for the Linux platform, but it's still important

Team Fortress 2, the online multiplayer game developed by Valve, has received another update for all supported platforms, including Linux.

Team Fortress 2 features a large number of multiplayer modes, such as Capture the Flag, Control Point, Payload, Arena, King of the Hill and more. Players can choose one of the nine classes: Scout, Soldier, Pyro, Demoman, Heavy, Engineer, Medic, Sniper, and Spy.

Highlights of the Team Fortress 2 update:

• A missing material has been added for the UGC medals; • Server convars, related to investigating server network and CPU utilization, have been added; • Player avatars have been added to the votekick menu; • -insert_search_path command line argument has been added; • The deflected Cow Mangler 5000 projectiles are no longer doing full critical damage instead of minicrit damage, like other deflected projectiles.
