Tails, a live system that aims at preserving your privacy and anonymity and that helps you use the Internet anonymously, is now at version 0.16.

Tails 0.16 has just arrived and it features a lot of changes, but surprisingly a new version of the Linux kernel hasn't been implemented.

Highlights of Tails 0.16:

• A too-easy-to-misclick shutdown button has been replaced with a better "Shutdown Helper" applet; • Display ~/Persistent in GNOME Places and Gtk file chooser; • Set Unsafe Browser's window title to "Unsafe Browser"; • Disable IPv6 on all network interfaces; • SCIM has been fixed in the autostarted web browser; • Iceweasel was updated to version 10.0.12esr-1+tails1; • Ekeyd has been installed in order to provide support for the EntropyKey.

A complete changelog can be found in the official announcement.
