T.E.C. 3001, an endless runner type of game developed by Phoenix Game Studio and published BulkyPix, has been released on Steam for Linux.

There are no endless running games on the Linux platform and the other platforms, Windows and Mac OS X, are also just getting them. These types of games have had great success on the mobile platforms, but it turns out that PC users might want to play them too.

“In T.E.C 3001 (Tesla Energy Collector), you are guiding a cutting-edge technology robot to collect virtual space energy leftovers for humanity. With great graphics and a unique heart-pumping soundtrack, T.E.C 3001 has what it takes to keep you on the right track,” says the developer on the Steam website.

Users will get 41 different levels to test their skills, split screen local multiplayer mode (it only works on the same computer), Free, Drag, Speed, and Endless gameplay modes, and more.

The Linux system requirements haven’t been posted yet, but they shouldn't be too far away from the ones for Windows: a 2.0 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, and integrated graphics with at least 256MB of VRAM.

More details about the T.E.C. 3001 endless runner can be found on the Steam website.
