François Dupoux announced a couple of days ago, March 17th, the first point release of his popular SystemRescueCd 2.5 Linux-based operating system for rescue and recovery tasks.

Highlights of SystemRescueCd 2.5.1:

· Updated the standard Linux kernel package to version 3.0.24 (with rescuecd and rescue64); · Updated the alternative Linux kernel packages to version 3.2.11 (with altker32 and altker64); · zfs-fuse was replaced with native zfs 0.6.0 RC on 64-bit kernels; · Updated FSArchiver to version 0.6.13; · Updated GRUB2 to version 2.00 Beta 2; · Updated Partclone to version 0.2.45; · Updated floppy disk images for GAG, HDT and Super-Grub-Disk; · Updated btrfs-progs to version 0.19-23; · Added Bacula 5.0.3.
