This version replaces GVerb with a brand-new Reverb effect based on Freeverb
Alexander Wolf has announced a few hours ago, September 9, that the third maintenance release of the popular Stellarium 0.12, a cross-platform and open source virtual planetarium application, is available for download for the Linux, Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows operating systems.Among the new features, we can mention that Stellarium 0.12.3 introduces a brand-new Bright Novae plugin, and adds intermediate value to ZHR of shooting stars between 80 and 10000.
This release also fixes issues when saving Milky Way brightness via the GUI (Graphical User Interface), fixes Flamsteed designations for some Virgo stars, fixes a regression with the keyboard shortcuts of various plugins, and repairs the search tool.
"This release contains a new Bright Novae plugin and fixes of few bugs within plugins and search tool. A huge thanks to our community whose contributions help to make Stellarium better!" said Alexander Wolf in the official release announcement.
