Valve has released yet another beta build of its Steam client, this time only to fix a small number of problems.

The company usually pushes a few Beta updates before upgrading the stable branch of Steam, and now it's time for another Beta build to be released.

According to the developers, a hang that occurred on startup if you had a problem connecting to the update server has been fixed, users can now employ the up and down arrows on the Store description dialog, the password cap locks label is now hiding when there is input present in the password box, and the check for updates button is now hiding properly.

Also, the runtime bootstrap has been rewritten, so that if this process interrupted, Steam is not left in an inconsistent non-startable state.

Check the official announcement for more details about this release. You can also download the Steam installer from Softpedia if you don't have the client.
