Squid, a caching proxy for the Web supporting HTTP, HTTPS, and FTP, that helps reduce bandwidth and improve response times by caching and reusing frequently requested web pages, is now at version 3.3.6

Squid 3.3.6 is mainly a maintenance release, with just a few bug fixes and improvements. Users should upgrade nonetheless.

Highlights of Squid 3.3.6:

• A bogus WARNING in the cache.log has been removed; • The Ip::Address::operator =(sockaddr_storage) has been fixed; • Several errors in AIX have been fixed; • Request headers logging has been fixed for icap_log; • HTTP reply ACLs is now supported in icap_log and log_icap; • A wrong check that occurred inside Format::Format::assemble has been fixed; • A buffer null termination has been corrected.
