SparkyLinux GameOver, a lightweight, fast and simple Linux distribution, designed for both old and new computers featuring customized Enlightenment, LXDE, and WindowMaker desktops, is now at version 2.1.

Unlike a few of the other distributions in the SparkyLinux lineup, GameOver 2.1 is based on the stable branch of Debian. It also features three different desktop environments: Enlightenment, LXDE, and WindowMaker. The latter is actually adopted by a very small number of Linux distributions.

The SparkyLinux GameOver operating system can be easily installed from a CD or USB driver, and provides support for most wireless and mobile network cards, and also for English or Polish languages.

The system requirements are also quite low:

• CPU Pentium III or newer • 256MB RAM memory or bigger • 512MB SWAP partition or bigger • 20GB (minimum) hard drive for installation – 30GB recommended • an optical drive or USB port

More details about this new Linux distribution can be found on the official website. Download SparkyLinux GameOver 2.1 right now from Softpedia.
