This is a game in a procedurally-generated world

Kinetic Void, a sandbox space simulator developed for multiple platforms by Badland Studio, is now available on Steam with a 20% discount.

Kinetic Void arrived on Steam as a game still in development and it remained like this for quite some time. The final version of the game was finally published a few days ago, and now players can buy it with an important 20% discount.

"The shipyard allows players to construct their ship piece by piece. Ships can be as simplistic as a cockpit, a hull, a engine and a gun, or as complex as a player wants. Each module has available subsystems which can be applied to strengthen specific attributes of the ship, and when damaged, those subsystems may be destroyed," reads the Steam website.

The interesting thing about this title is that it's a single-player game, but there is no main storyline. The makers of Kinetic Void want to see the players experience the galaxy at their leisure, especially since this is a procedurally-generated experience.

Also, gamers will need at least dual-core 2 Ghz CPU, 2 GB of RAM, and NVIDIA 400 GTX or better video card, and 2.5 GB of HDD space.

More details about this game can be found on the Steam website. The promotion is set to expire on November 28.
