Space Hulk: Ascension Edition, an upgraded and improved version of the original Space Hulk game developed and published by Full Control Studios, will arrive on Steam for Linux.

Users might be familiar with the name of Space Hulk, but not from regular games. This is the name of a very famous and popular board game that's been around for quite some time. Now, lots of board games are making their way onto the PC, and Space Hulk is just one of them.

"Set in the isolated corridors and tomb-like chambers of ancient vessels lost in the graveyard of space, players lead a small force of fearless Space Marine Terminators in a ferocious fight for survival against hordes of predatory, alien Genestealers. The standalone sequel to Space Hulk brings an all new and improved single-player experience for the turn-based strategy game," reads the synopsis on Steam.

The system requirements for this title are not very demanding and most players should be able to run it: at least Ubuntu 13.04, a 2.0 GHz quad-core processor, 4 GB of RAM, GeForce 500+ or AMD Radeon 5000+ video card, and 4 GB available HDD space.

Space Hulk: Ascension Edition is scheduled to arrive on November 12 and players can get it right now with a 10% discount.
