SmartGit, a graphical client for the version control systems Git and Mercurial with optimized workflows for multiple platforms, is now at version 4.6.3.

SmartGit provides some very important features such as local working tree operations, push, pull, fetch for all protocols, tag and branch management, and much more.

Only one new feature has been added in this version. According to the developers, virtual "merging" commit is now only displayed if "HEAD" is selected.

Also, a possible internal error for the file log has been corrected, a syntax-related error when typing with IME has been fixed, and much more.

A number of important fixes and changes have been implemented for Git, SVN, GUI, Linux, OS X, and even Windows 7.
