Robert Shingledecker has announced the immediate availability for download and testing of the Tiny Core 5.0.2 Linux operating system.

As the name implies, this distribution is known for its small size and versatility. The developer integrates a large number of packages and an attractive desktop.

Highlights Tiny Core Linux 5.0.2:

• pretce processing is now done a lot earlier to allow the loading of network drivers; • Various cosmetic text message adjustments have been made; • The nfs directory can now be mounted without –onolock; • setupHome now allows an empty home directory; • mkdir home has been restored in order to support tftplist; • The remove option is now working properly when it’s called without the .tcz suffix.

A complete list of updates and changes can be found in the official announcement. Download Tiny Core Linux 5.0.2 right now from Softpedia.
