Siduction 12.1 RC, a Linux distribution that ships with three desktop environments, KDE SC, XFCE and LXDE, for both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures, was announced today.

Siduction 12.1 RC, codenamed Desperado, is actually a Linux distribution based on Debian Sid from 2012-05-13, with a lot of extra packages and scripts. All Siduction editions have Linux kernel 3.3.6 and Xorg Server 1.12.1.

The three desktop environments available in Siduction 12.1 RC are KDE SC 4.8.3, XFCE 4.8 and the latest LXDE version. The distribution also comes with the Btrfs filesystem, and its infrastructure has been vastly improved. Download Siduction 12.1 RC right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development release and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended to be used for testing purposes only.
